A sailor's prayer

Lord, behold over our family of seafarers assembled,

We thank Thee for the ships in which we Dwell,

For the love and camaraderie that with us,

For the peace You accord us in daily lives,

For the hope which we expect the marrow,

For the health, the work, the food,

For the bright skies and calm seas

that melle our lives delightful,

For our friends in all parts of the earth.

Thank you Lord for the passage of

time with these sailors,

who have departed whom You have

recalled,

their memories are fresh and

treasured.
